We produce nationally accredited and certified courses for outdoor professionals, also specialist training courses for military, rescue and police units.
We provide the essential knowledge and accreditation for you to work and play in the Great Outdoors as a Professional Outdoor Practitioner. All programme coordinators hold the right qualifications and wide experience base to ensure you get the best experience so that you can do your job.
Level 2 FPoS First Person on Scene + WEMT - AoFAQ Level 3 Award in Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician Basic and Intermediate + MiRA AoFAQ Level 4 Award in Medicine in Remote Areas (Advanced Pre-Hospital care) Next available Course commencing January 19th at Riverside Outdoor Education Centre, Pontardawe in the Swansea Valley - See course outline. Take WEMT, FPoS or MiRA separately or together for a robust and valuable medical qualification. This with our Outdoor Teaching Qualification allows entry for you into first aid and other training opportunities.
We provide Experiential Learning Experiences using PBL (Problem Based Learning) by qualified teaching staff using methods that are proven to create effective skill retention.
